This year we will offer an Optional Pre-Meeting Session on Wednesday October 26th from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Our topic will be "Ways to Achieve a Desirable Change in the Spatial Relationship of the Mandible to Maxilla". Dr. Larry Wolford, world renowned orthognathic surgeon, researcher and lecturer, will present the surgically assisted approach and Dr. Peter Buschang, Director of Orthodontic Research will present the Mini-Screw assisted approach. A panel discussion will follow their presentations. There is an additional fee of $100 for this session which includes breakfast.

Golfers will hit the links on the beautiful Fazio Course at Stonebriar Resort that afternoon. Jack Mann is our golf chairman. This is NOT a Foundation event. Please email Jack at or call 214-793-8252 to make your reservation to participate. Other members will have the afternoon and evening to explore the area.

Dr. Jean Comard and I are organizing what will be an interesting Scientific Program. We will begin on Thursday at 3:15pm with membership presentations. On Friday and Saturday, we will hear from many of our International speakers. Dr. Larry Tadlock, ABO Director and Program Director of Orthodontics at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry, will inspire us with an outstanding "Merrifield Lecture". We will have a light breakfast and lunch each day. The program will conclude at 3:15pm on Friday and Saturday in order to allow you some free time.

The model room will be open Thursday morning so please set your cases out early. We encourage members to "pick up some plaster" this morning while the Board meets. After lunch, the examining committee will look at case reports for those who desire to become Fellows. You may print the Case Report Presentation information. The model display room will be located near the lecture room and will be open each day from early in the morning until late in the afternoon. All of us are to bring cases!!

On the lighter side, there will be a reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres Thursday evening. On Friday evening, we'll load the buses for an 1800's Texas Hoedown at Storybook Ranch with BBQ and Boot Scootin'! On Saturday morning, spouses/guests will enjoy a Paint Party Brunch. Saturday night will feature the President's Dinner where we'll honor some special people and then dance the night away.
